Ellsey's Summer

So everybody really means it when they say time will fly with a child - the summer is over already!?!  My baby girl is getting so big already!  Here are some shots of her summer!

Ellsey has been hard at play so we just had to share!

Biker babe

I (Nic) was doing some research and found that in Iowa, there is no age limit for motorcycle passengers.  I think we will get Ellsey started pretty soon on riding the motorcycle.  I have been working on mounting the car seat to the back or modifying the saddle bags to hold her.  Here are some pics of Ellsey enjoying her first sit on the bike.

Roll over, roll over.

We have mentioned to some of you that Ellsey is rolling over now, but whenever people come over to visit she won't do it.  I think she gets a little stage fright.  Anyway, here is a video of her rolling from her tummy to her back.  She has done both but does this way more often.  It makes it hard to have tummy time though because whenever she doesn't feel like being on her tummy she will just roll to her back.

Ellsey - 12 Weeks

My baby is 12 weeks already! I can't believe it.  She is holding her head up, gabbing a ton, chewing on her hands, and rolling over both ways! (we hope to catch it on video and get it on here soon!)

Slow down baby girl! You're getting too big too soon!  :)

Two Months!

Can you believe that Ellsey is two months old already?!

She keeps getting bigger and I wish she'd slow down!  But she's so fun to watch, smiling and talking more, and wow, she's a mover!

Some highlights of Ellsey's 2nd month:

• She was an honorary flower girl in Uncle Justin and Aunt Kate's wedding!

• She finally got to meet her Aunt Whitney!

• She started daycare, and is doing so well!
• She is smiling so big!  It's so cute!

• She is doing lots more talking!

• She loves her bath!
